Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Noticed AI ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Leyden Press LLC, based in Plymouth, Massachusetts. We provide an AI-powered job application platform including a web application and Chrome browser extension that help job seekers tailor resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn outreach messages to specific job postings.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — email address and hashed password when you create an account.
  • Resume data — the resume files you upload. These are stored in Supabase Storage and used solely to generate tailored materials for you.
  • Job descriptions — text extracted from job postings you provide (via paste, URL, or the Chrome extension). Job description text is sent to our server for AI processing and is not shared with third parties.
  • Generated content — tailored resumes, cover letters, match reports, interview prep, and LinkedIn outreach messages we create for you.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data — anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) collected via PostHog to improve the product.

3. Chrome Extension Data

Our Chrome extension ("Noticed AI — Resume Tailor") accesses job posting pages you visit on supported sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby) to extract job description text.

  • The extension only activates on recognized job board pages. It does not monitor your general browsing activity.
  • Extracted job description text is sent to our server for processing. No other page content is collected.
  • Authentication tokens are stored locally in chrome.storage.local and never transmitted to third parties.
  • The extension does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, form data, or personal information from web pages.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To generate tailored resumes, cover letters, match reports, interview prep, and LinkedIn outreach messages.
  • To authenticate you and manage your subscription.
  • To improve our AI models and product experience.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

5. AI Processing

Your resume and job description text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate tailored content. Anthropic does not use data sent via their API to train models. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security) hosted in the United States.
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Resume files are stored in Supabase Storage with short retention. You can delete your resumes at any time.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
  • Generated content (tailored resumes, cover letters, etc.) is retained for your access until you delete it or your account.
  • If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You can at any time:

  • Access and download your data.
  • Delete your uploaded resumes.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt out of analytics by using a browser ad blocker or contacting us.

9. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI content generation.
  • Cloudflare — web application hosting and CDN.
  • PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

10. Children

Noticed AI is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
